Any Ideas and Suggestions on improving *Cosmic Forge*.

Put gadgeteer in Wizardry 6&7?

So I really like the gadgeteer class in Wizardry 8. I was wondering if there was any way to put them in Wizardry 6 or 7? I'd imagine you might have to override a class in order to do that. I'd probably replace the bard and switch out their instruments for gadgets?

You could do that to some extent by modding: changing text, images, modifying bard class heavily, etc.
Not sure how far you can get and if it will feel like bard renamed to a gadgeteer...
Adding a new class is near to impossible - the class ids are hardcoded in multitude places in the code.

The main difference would probably be the inclusion of modern weapons.

Then you can do it - pretty much change anything you want. ;)
